Clerical Support Staff
The primary responsibility of the Clerical Support Staff is to keep customer records up to date and help with day to day operation of the agency.This full or part time position will require exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in order to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities are not limited to but do include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Perform service on policies as needed.
- Answer Phones.
- Greet Customer.
- Make agent appointments.
- Manage paperless file system.
- Train in service procedures for new products as released.
- Train in servicing Insurance products as required.
- Assist other office personnel as needed.
- Continue to stay current on Allstate products.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area at all times.
- Handle inquiries from customers as required.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
Strong trouble shooting skills.
Must be able to handle several tasks simultaneously ensuring that each task is completed quickly, effectively, professionally, and with the highest level of quality.
Strong written and oral communications skills.
Efficient time management skills.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
Insurance experience desired but not required.
